The People of Raddon Hill North West Clog Morris
We are arguably Exeter’s jolliest Clog Morris side, just bring your sense of humour along and listen! Our members are
drawn from across Devon, keen to enjoy the fun and frolics of our mixed side. There is a serious side though,
when we practice at Ide Village hall under the careful guidance of Annie on Tuesday evenings between September and May.
Our music is provided by an ever growing band comprising Robin (Accordian and band leader), Barry (Bass Drum and anchor man), Dave (Snare drum and heavy anchor man – when you see him you’ll know!).

Finding our Morris Dancing Side
We can be found at Ide on Tuesday Evenings during the practice season. During the rest of the year we
enjoy dancing “out” at pubs and weekends away in the UK and abroad!!
The North West Clog Morris Dances we Do
All our dances are drawn from the North West of England and are named after places which you may know.
These are Uppermill, Waltons Parade, Littleborough, Runcorn, Colne, Hartshead, Marsh Green, West Houghton, Leyland, Woodbank, Uncle Bernards, Herne Bay Polka and Mrs Hepples this year. We change dances each year to bring freshness to our display and to encourage new members (we all start from square one!!). We practice energetically over the winter season so that in the summer we dance with the precision the style demands while always having fun.
